Have fun, meet new friends and fundraise for charity. Ladies Circle offers you this and more! Harpenden Circle has a thriving and active membership
and is part of the national organisation for women aged 18-45.
We have a varied programme of social events which includes wine tasting, cycling, meals out, outdoor activities,
an annual ball, drinks in the pub and much more.
As part of The National Association of Ladies' Circles our aim is to promote
friendship and service. Fundraising and involvement in the community is one of the main reasons why people choose to join us.
Harpenden Circles' main annual fundraising event is the Christmas Gift & Craft Fair. In 2011 we raised £12,700 for our chosen charities Grove House Hospice and Children with Cancer UK
We work closely with Harpenden Round Table as we were originally set up as an
organisation for the wives of Tablers. We help Harpenden Round Table with Harpenden Carnival every year.
This year's carnival will take place in May where we will be organising the refreshments in a large marquee as well as entering a carnival float!
Other events we get involved with include helping at the Race For Life locally
and distributing Christmas boxes to local people in need.
