What do we do for others?

Key to the ongoing success of the Harpenden Circle is the work we do in the local community. Those of you that live in and around the local area are sure to have heard of the Harpenden Christmas Gift Fair. Now in its 37th year, our Fair attracts a wide range of stallholders and customers. This is our main fundraising event and on average we raise between £16,000 - £18,000 per annum. The charities who will benefit from this year's event are Grove House Hospice and Children with Cancer.

Harpenden Carnival

We are aligned to the Harpenden Round Table and help them with their two major fund raising activities; Harpenden Carnival and Santa's Sleigh. At the Carnival you will find us serving in the beer tent, hosting free children's activities and taking care of the local Mayor and other VIP's. At Christmas we accompany Santa's Sleigh, shaking buckets and handing out sweets to the local children.

Another important aspect of our community work is the support we provide to NOAH Enterprise - a homeless charity based in Luton. Once a month, three of us do a two hour shift in the charity's kitchen, helping to feed 60 people at a time.
