Welcome

Have fun, meet new friends and fundraise for charity. Ladies Circle offers you this and more! Harpenden Circle has a thriving and active membership and is part of the national organisation for women aged 18-45. We have a varied programme of social events which includes wine tasting, cycling, meals out, outdoor activities, an annual ball, drinks in the pub and much more. As part of The National Association of Ladies' Circles our aim is to promote friendship and service. Fundraising and involvement in the community is one of the main reasons why people choose to join us.

Harpenden Circles' main annual fundraising event is the Christmas Gift & Craft Fair which raised over £14,000 for charity in 2007. This year we are raising vital funds towards Harpenden Mencap, C.R.Y (Cardiac risk in the young), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and St Albans Homestart.

We work closely with Harpenden Round Table as we were originally set up as an organisation for the wives of Tablers. We helped Harpenden Round Table with Harpenden Carnival which took place on Sunday 18th May. We provided and served refreshments in a large marquee as well as entering a carnival float! Other events we get involved with include helping at the Race For Life locally and distributing Christmas boxes to local people in need.

We meet twice a month on Tuesday evenings. Come and join us anytime…
